I’m Felicia Guan — a Toronto based designer and a current student at York University & Sheridan College Bachelor of Design program (YSDN).

As a curious and determined individual, I find pleasure in designing to solve complex problems.  A philosophy that guides me everyday would be, “Every problem is a gift. Without them, we wouldn’t grow” (Tony Robbins). In my eyes, problems are opportunities, we live in a world where we are surrounded with opportunities for the purpose of innovation and development. As a designer, we are the creatives who not only translate ideas to the public, but we are problem solvers, who redefine the past to develop a better future.

As I continue to grow as a designer, I will be looking forward to expanding my knowledge outside of design. I would like to explore unfamiliar territories and dive into different facets of the world. My most anticipated trip would be to Japan — where I can experience not only the culture, but to also experience the vast variety of Japanese designs and food culture.

Let's get in touch! I'm always interested in connecting and sharing ideas.
